Yeah the powers in this story are interesting and based on something called the “protos”. Most people can manipulate the protos with those rings they wear (which were created by someone on the Grand Council, which fun fact is sort of analogous to the evil World Government from One Piece lol) So much to show eventually 😛
I’m interested to see more about the protos, since you say it’s like the force. And how those rings work exactly. I wouldn’t mind the ability to vaguely predict the future while spawning pretty planets in front of me
Haha that would be so useful, but also mildly terrifying depending on the tarot card fortune you got :P. We absolutely will eventually drip feed more and more about the protos, can’t wait.
Some fun facts since you brought up ol’ Star Wars, this story has a gazillion influences but some of the biggest are Star Wars, Final Fantasy 7, and Hunter x Hunter (as u prob are very aware lol). The whole idea for Paradise 003 and all the Paradises is that they’re sort of like deceptively peaceful Galactic Empire posts/cities, like D’larah.
Paradise 003 probably being one of the better for constituents to live in since there’s this weird favoritism for it from the Grand Council. Though as we’d see in Paradise 002 some places give a more on the nose “Galactic Empire” vibe . I can’t wait for when this story becomes a lot more like Midgar section in FF7, Grand Phantasia’s gonna be MESSY bro hahaha
LMAO. They’re crazy. I really can’t wait to show y’all who this guy is eventually. I think what will be most interesting is how they end up being revealed, not just who they are 😛
