Yeah I can’t say it’s looking too good for our friends in the elevator. But hey, we haven’t seen their (potential) corpses! (trying to be optimistic XD) . Yeah, we will learn about Sleepy’s background very soon actually, it might explain a bit why she can seem so calm in such extreme situations. She’s had an…extreme upbringing!
Sleepy was like “Oh no…anyway” when it came to checking on the three soldiers lol. But really there’s not much she can do, for them or herself. I’m curious to see if she can get out of this “Escape room”. The blonde soldier reminds me of someone I know I swear to god, you just read my mind and put one of my old coworkers into this comic 💀

True lol. She can do a bunch of stuff local to her device, like rewatch that video she took. But yeah, no Youtube or Youtube equivalent. I don’t use Youtube for anything but music these days but I pretty much always have a tab open XD.
lol nahh, I have to be honest I sort of get annoyed whenever I see those these days. the ones that pop up on my feed tend to be pretty bad esp if they’re more popular. last philosophy one I remember watching just completely botched Hegel and Marx. i just got bored of most movie essay stuff tbh, a lot of them are pretty shallow cinema sin level stuff or “THE WEST HAS FALLEN” kind of cringe for 10 to 30 mins 💀. every once in a blue moon there’s an interesting one I might partake.
I am also subbed to smaller comic artists/animators and their youtubes/streams. those are all always awesome haha.
YES! So good, Succession War Arc is basically anime Game of Thrones this is just insane all the the different characters and reveals. It’s amazing what Togashi can build upon and hold interest given we haven’t seen Gon be a major player in like years. I really have some theories about Beyond that I’m curious if we’ll have the answer too soon. I’m also happy that Hunter x Hunter is back officially on an irregular schedule that’s flexible for Togashi. He’s been really prolific lately so I think we’ll see a lot of chapters for a while maybe every few weeks or so.
Oh no I haven’t! I’m planning on seeing Look Back soon though, pretty hyped for that. For Uzumaki, even though I like horror and respect the hell out of Junji Ito, never been like a gigantic fan of most of his stories. Also the anime trailers just haven’t done much for me tbh.
Now Hunter x Hunter just has to avoid a Game of Thrones ending. I want to check out Look Back, but I feel like the animated version of that story will destroy me emotionally lol.

Very, very good short film. It really hit home, man a bit too much at points. Fujimoto’s so versitile and the team did a phenomenal job animating and adding to his story!

It is definitely something nasty. Heh, sorry but uh…we will definitely be back in the elevator if only briefly XD. The last portion of this tunnel arc will definitely mostly focus on Porcia, Sleepy and the theater shenanigans, but we’ll also follow what these soldiers go through and a bit of what Security and Lucia are doing 🙂

I’m glad you think so! They are very creepy these murderers in masks. That’s a great point, they are doing a lot here to say the least. Their motivation must be pretty strong.
We won’t have revealed all the potential suspects for at least until we get back to what Security office is doing, but I can’t wait till then. Y’all will have all the clues by then :D. I really don’t think most will guess who they are lol. I’m still laughing about who it is tbh XD.

Yeah, Rabidus is pretty strong with his bayesion rings, like his mom and dad. In terms of fighting he’d do very well as long as he had his rings. He probably would get a bit more worked up and impatient than Porcia and Sleepy haha.
Fun fact, in the tiemline right now he’s celebrating his 19th birthday in Idiko’s Paradise. It’s funny because back when he was the main protag, I did the same set up with Yasha where the story begins with bad things happening after their birthday ðŸ˜. For Yasha it’s Circus, for Rabidus it was the airplane sequence. I can be a mean author sometimes lmao
Also, I find the soldiers comment about General Lavavoth being patronising and not believing he’d rescue Porcia, interesting. How much of him rescuing Porcia is actually out of genuine concern.
Oh yeah Lavavoth is another person we will see more of, but to many of the soldiers he is a lot.
When Kaycen says he’s patronizing more so in the sense that he consistently acts like everyone in the military but him is stupid and incompetent . Instead of the type of patronizing where someone appears friendly but actually looks down on others, Lavavoth is both mean AND looks down on all his soldiers lmao. On top of being a war criminal
But you can say that he does take his job stupid seriously like Iri, and how much of him saving the princess is out of genuine concern we shall see!
Yup! I can say, both those images circumstances aren’t quite what they seem haha. Sleepy’s backstory is nuts, I thought up with some people a while ago we will just touch the tip of the iceberg next page 😉

Haha! That would be kind of on the nose with the whole ‘Evil‘ thing on her beenie but who knows right? Without spoiling too much I can say that man things went down, Sleepy was there for two years until she met Porcia online while she was in prison, then eventually Idiko convinced Paradise’ 002 King to let her out. A lot more happened but we’ll see a bit soon 😀
Oh I forgot to reply to the other part of your comment. I like Valentin’s design too haha. She’s funny. She and Aicha are important players too. Since Porcia and Sleepy are kind of the main focus of this arc, there’s a lot of “cameos” of players that will be relevant later :).
