They’re 17! You know you and another comment made me think, they’re the only two sort of lead characters in a story I write that are under 18, I’ve been thinking it for a while but should have done it before TBH they’re designs could be toned down a bit (was literally not my intention to be sexualized lol).
Even if this is a mature story they’re still only 17. they’re both referenced off a 3D model I use that I’ve been thinking for a while needs to be edited. As well as their fits will be tweaked a bit too, they’re unrealistically ‘form fitting’ is dead honest out of laziness on my part. for any gender it’s just much quicker the less lines I have to add on top of a model lol. but I’m probably going to quickly edit lots of panels and give them a different clothing fit and build so it’s less uncomfortable to look at. The way my workflow is, plus the fact that I’m redoing a lot of panels anyway means this shouldn’t be a big hassle either! Sorry for the unrelated tangent lol! But I’m glad you mentioned this cause it kinda of indirectly reminded/pushed me to do something I’ve been wanting to do. especially since I get a surprising amount of visitors and comments to, not trying to convey some weird shit
No really it’s okay, it’s actually really not going to make me have to change much at all. And it’s also not gonna take much time at all lol.
They’re not gonna change too much :). And don’t feel bad, it’s my decision, I promise I get lots of critique from my gf, art friends and also from strangers, solicited and not. And I’m sort of a stubborn artist I only change things that I totally agree should be change, regardless of how much feedback haha! So thanks again 😀
Porcia has an interesting relationship with her mom what I can say haha. She does just want to explore cool monsters and adventures! But if we’re being sympathetic to her mom/the queen she is just super overprotective. I promise you she’s a thousand times better than Sleepy’s dad XD, which will come to light one day is what I can say!
haha thanks, but it’s more just small char tweaks than big changes, nothing continuity breaking. and I vibe with that, ive gotten lots of suggestions to change stuff but I’m putting out this weird story how I want at the end of the day and let the chips fall where they may XD.
but in this case I’ve wanted to tweak em for a while too, so im on board with it!
That was quite the surprise. A hypnosis device? And it was saying some cryptic lingo as well, it looks like someone doesn’t want anyone to know what’s going on in these tunnels.
One slice is all it took :D. Personally I don’t even interpret that red 18+ symbol as just sexual stuff, mostly just alerting I have some content that’s not suitable to minors period lol. But this comic won’t have sex scenes or anything like that, it’s definitely adult mostly for violence that’ll happen later. This is a very lighthearted story arc compared to later ones lol. That being said there’s nightclubs and implied stuff later on! I’d compare it to that netflix show Arcane except much more violent at times 🙂
All that being said I’m not against writing stories with sexual stuff! But I don’t post on that twitter account much besides advertising and honestly might delete it soon in favor of my instagram, so don’t expect too much in that regard at least now XD.
Got a sneaking suspicion that Bubble Man may have been trying to warn them about that thing, seems to share his… well, bubbles! Love Porcia just slicing up that thing like nobodys business!
That’s a great guess! Yeah the bubbles def are a hard sign, can’t wait to show you guys what’s coming :). I love that too lol, can’t show it in comic but she’s really fast!

That’s an interesting compliment, I really don’t keep genre in mind when I’m writing but I actually have seen and read my share of shojo, especially adventure/magic ones they tend to be great :D. Also love cyperpunk so those two elements will be here for sure lol, along with some horror 🙂
Porcia and Sleepy are indeed great fighters haha. Crazy thing is they really don’t end up killing things or people if they can help it even in these crazy situations, but robots are an exception 😀
